Continuing Membership

The continuing membership is intended to help dancers continue learning, dancing, and participating in the swing dance community. It is designed for dancers who have learned all the basics and are now interested in growing their skills and reinvesting back into the swing dance community. But it isn't sustainable to keep signing up for the same class without something changing - we want to reflect your experience and reward your value.

Generally, given SBDC's seasonal rotation of classes, taking the classes required to be considered an experienced and integrated community dancer takes approximately 3 months.  This should include a minimum of an 8-count class, a 6-count class, and a non lindy class.  Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis since we know that our class schedule isn't on a strict rotation.  Experience from regular participation in social events, workshops, and external swing dance scenes will also be considered.

However, due to the website's function / membership restriction limitations, it is possible to purchase a subscription plan at the same time as a dancer's first class, and in these cases the subscription will be refunded - sorry!
